Most projects start with a free call, then a Scope Session, then a fixed-price build. Ongoing work runs on reserved days each month. You can stop after any step, and everything built is yours.
Scope Session
Up to half a day on the thing you want fixed, improved or built. An hour or two is often enough. Within two working days you get a written plan: what to build, what not to, and a fixed price.

Fixed-price build
The thing itself, built and deployed. A dashboard, a private app, a reporting system, an automation that ends a recurring chore. Fixed price, agreed functionality, and 30 days of corrections after launch.

Reserved days
Reserved days each month, done by Commissioned Code personally. For businesses that want regular technical work instead of a hire. Priorities agreed at the start of each month, one active request at a time.

Reserve daysTechnical takeover
Inherited a website, a Shopify store or a system from a developer who has moved on? We find out what you actually own, who holds the keys, and what is at risk, then fix the urgent bits.

Arrange an inspectionAgencies and consultancies: we take referred technical work on the same terms, invoice you or your client, and your client stays yours. Mention it on the call.
Larger, longer or confidential projects, or something spanning several of the above, start with a conversation and a Scope Session and are priced on the work itself. The same fixed-price discipline, at whatever size the work honestly is.

Payment
Half to begin, half on delivery. Scope Sessions and takeovers are paid up front and credited against what follows.
Ownership
You own everything built for you, code and data included. Hosting accounts can sit in your name from day one.
Changes
Scope changes are quoted before they are built. The price you agreed is the price you pay.
After launch
Thirty days of corrections after launch, covering anything that differs from the spec. After that, reserved days or one-off quotes.
Confidentiality
NDAs signed before any detail changes hands, ours or yours. ICO registered and Cyber Essentials certified.
Not a fit
Enterprise procurement and tenders, safety-critical or medical systems, and work that needs a team of ten.
